I’m thinking of a one day run to North Wales.
Tues and Fri this week is quiet it terms of meetings
I’ve also been hatching a plan for a Snowdon smash and grab.
Not sure if and when (going up to meet some mates October 9th anyway) but quite fancy a super early start, be at Pen-y-pass by 9.30am, run up and down Snowdon, breakfast in Pete’s Eats, kip in the car park, then back in the afternoon.
Got a weeks holiday week after next so might do it then.
But a ride to Brighton is also good.
I did that once, our plan was to then stay over and drive back the next day. But it was raining heavily when we were coming off the hill, soaked, camping didn’t seem clever, three of us so sleeping in the car would be a bit too cozy, decided fcuk it, we may as well drive back. Around Bedford the rotor arm on my friend’s car gave up the ghost. Hours waiting for recovery, repair man wasn’t carrying a spare rotor arm with him, these were the days when every car used them. Hours more waiting for a trailer.
That was a long day.

If we go early enough I could try find somewhere to work from Brighton for the day perhaps… Maybe a pub or something.
If not, I could just take a day off but starting to run short on those!
Would love for us to have one more blast!

Just realised, you said breakfast run. I am defo gonna struggle to make that during the week, school run and all that jazz. If its around the same time as the previous ride then I should be good to go.
Also surely there is another route we can do, Brighton was excellent, but on to the next one 
happy to do early Sunday one as well!

Mmmmm, maybe more like 9:00 which isn’t that early I suppose 
. It’s an hour for me from my place to there. Maybe 8:30?
Yeah, that’s my problem too. Been trying to figure a way around it. Weather is amazing.

9am on Sunday !! Why why would you do that. Its the one day I completely ignore the kids and sleep till what ever time 
OK granted Saturday night does not end with a couple bottles of wine then I should be able to make it. Box Hill is a little trek for me but hey cannot let that weather go to waste.
What direction are you thinking from box Hill??
