Having an early night tonight as I have got a lot done & have the day off tomorrow so I can afford to relax a lil
So what did I get done… Got the front fairing stay and air ducts on along with the nose cone and clocks, I now have the left side main fairing in place which helps give my baby its complete look I have also added new cotton reel crash bungs.
The OEM indicatiors won’t be going back on as im ordering an after market pair this Monday same goes for the mirrors I don’t want them so the OEM version will stay in their box and be replaced with a nice pair of carbon blank plates I hope
Nuts your a lucky guy I have a spare decal sitting in the garage got it just in case I mucked up the first one, I also ordered two more for a customer who has now cancelled so when they turn up ill PM you. (Did you used to ride a hornet?)
Gareth Do you know the torque wrench setting’s for the R&G’s & standard or Akki can please mate?
Pic: 24 Front fairing stay goes on garage is in a state Pic: 25 Nearly there…
AND NEXT I will be off to see the good guys at Colin Colins to order a few new screws some of mine got a lil rounded and although there still usable they look ugly, Im hoping the switch gear comes tomorrow so I can finish off the left clipon & add my renthal grips & R&G bar ends.
Pray for a new K4 tank to show up on eBay guys.
Cool DA, I’ll have two decals from you then… Still got the Hornet and ride it almost every day. It is perfect for commuting to work on. I thought of selling it but might as well keep it to ride through winter. It makes sense cos the Gixxer is just mental and not at all suited for a six mile journey through 30/40 limits, rush hour traffic past queues and queues of sleepy cagers. If I drop the Hornet it is not such a big deal, if I drop the Gixxer So the Gixxer is going to be my sunny day and weekend tool. Oh I’ve also got a car that sits outside my flat for weeks on end doing nothing
One sticker for the race can on the Hornet and one to go on the can I’ve just got for Gixxer would be just the job
Danno, star man! If you could lend it to me I can copy it… I could probably walk to your place from mine, live in Hampton m8 near West London Yamaha.
Still not got round to finding relay. Couple of people said you can hear it going tick, tick but it is completely silent
Gixxer was a nice choice Nuts but what gixxer did you go for?
Okay decals are yours mate but you’ll need to PM me an address to send them to.
& sorry I can’t help with the relay location but Jay or Gareth might know.

I’m gutted, done an insurance quote for a GSXR6 and it came in at over a grand! Looks unlikely it’s gonna be my next step up. I’m gonna have to be a traitor and get an R6 It came in cheapest of the sports 600’s, so will most likely be my next ride once test is out the way…
Sharpshooter She is nearly back to standard after my off and then ill start tricking her out
As for insurance im paying a grand, so don’t be a girl go get a part time job pay the £1000 and have the bike you really want.
which ever way you go good luck.
I’ve got a part-time job…Marks and spencers customer assistant Lol
I would love to have the gixxer, but as a student I cant really afford it as it would mean less money to spend at the weekends!!
It’s only for posing really. I can manage the R6 for a year, gain some NCB and experience, then upgrade it to a GSXR750, providing I dont get swayed by the darkside…
