Yes you are quite right but he isn’t even here to defend himself. If he wants to ride like a c**t and ignore the law then it’s only a matter of time before he loses his licence or god forbid something worse. Only he himself can change his behaviour. Me, I’m just killing time and having a laugh.

Do me a favour Ratty, I hope to see a higher calibre of riding from everyone on The BCR. Its not how fast you ride, its how you ride fast.
I werent even on The BCR today and saw some very shoddy riding out there from some BCR members!
If I’d been 100ft closer to a BCR group that were coming the other way. My pillion and I could have been wearing a BCR member that couldnt work out that if the 3-4 riders in front of him were holding off overtaking the car they were bunched up behind, then may be it aint safe!:doze:
If we or another vehicle had collided with that rider, he’d have prolly hit the other 3 he was overtaking. Then how many of the riders behind the canage would have avoided 6 riders, 5 bikes and a car strewn across the road? The first half dozen would have ploughed sstraight in to it!
As you’ve advised Arnie several times on LB, you were one of the first people to ask me to give a safety talk before we set off on The BCR. Our actions on the road have consequences…

This said, can’t really talk. I ride nowhere as fast as Arnie (in strait line at least) but I am rarely at or under the speed limit either on road like the A406 unless the traffic is in a gridlock.
I think that Arnie’s major problem is actually a very loud exhaust that attract a lot attention. Some less wanted than other.:ermm:

@ Arnie - Watch out mate! Take care of yourself, the speed limits are there for a reason, but I know you are already aware of that, so there’s no point labouring the fact.

when arnie pulled that overtake i was there i saw it, i shook my head as did you i think, and when we got back to finchingfield i said to smiffy i think sneaky might want a word with arnie whe he gets here, cos it was close, i didnt mean that teh BCR is a free for all do what teh fugg you liek at 130+ affair cos its not, i ment that 40 zones are the not place to go for it, open lanes with national limit are better no? thats why we ride them isnt it? to go at a decent pace?
i have mentioned overtaking before yes and i still have the same view, why do you think i wave peopel past and sit at the back alot? cos i dont like how close some come!
