:D:D:D Your right Pete! I’m a bit of a 1960’s enthusiast (freak!) - but basically I see a lot of continuity from the 60’s in British culture - the influence carries on up to the present day in terms of music, tv, film, fashion - I think we should hang on to this distinctiveness which enabled bands like the Stones to take an American product (e.g. Rock and Roll/Rhythm and Blues) and turn it into something very specifically and uniquely British.
I’ll leave it to people who are a bit more ‘with it’ to bring us up to date on this one! ;)
Whilst feeling slightly upbeat about this and also proud to be British I thought I’d google the question ‘what’s great about Britain?’
