What keeps you in Leathers?

What do y’all do for a living in order to support your extensive bike habits? I’m looking for a weekend/evening job to fund me all the shiny bits I want, but in the meantime I do:

My 9-5(more 7 - 9 right now) - Advertising Exec
My Extra’s - Webdesign, professional photography, club promotion, DJing and a bit of band management.

still I can’t afford a decent pair of armoured trousers. S’expensive this biking lark isn’t it?

anyway, what feeds you, the cat and the bike?

Financial services compliance & regulation. I actually enjoy it. I’m a scary person

yes you are.

Part time giggolo…

Hi Adam , I was in the air force for 5 years back in the 70s

I’m an accountant.

Keeps me, my daughter, one large dog, four gerbils and four bikes in the style we like.

In fairness, the Sprogthing is now earning herself, but as she is at Uni, running a car etc, I don’t charge her for rent or bills, although she does contribute to the food shopping.

Hey Ian, what was your trade?

Chef

well someone has to feed you all

Ian

An army (well in this case the RAF) marches on it stomach…

good man, we will have to have a drink some day !

I dated a RAF firefighter who was at Brize, Marham, Falklands and Cyprus during our time together.

Didn’t seem to be able to get far enough away from me.

Yes we will

Oh well back to work now

Ian

Life in a blue suit I am afraid, I am currently in hot climate…

Am an an accountant too, although cant quite afford 4 bikes… got to keep the little lady in the manner to which she is accustomed!

Not qualified yet, so another reason for being a porper.

I work in visual effects for film - at the moment I’m on ‘Hot Fuzz’, the next instalment from the guys that brought you ‘Shaun of the Dead’. Expect lots and lots of blood, guts & gore just like the last one!

Not particularly glamorous work mind you - mostly spent in front of a computer in a very dark room. Looking more like Gollum by the day…

oh, we pitched for the advertising on that one…
