when i left school and got a job in wimbledon the only form of transport open to me was a bike as in those days cbt and das hadnt been thought of, just rolled up to roy smiths in new malden got myself a dt125 and that was it never looked back…
Some of it was probably being told that I would never be allowed a bike while living under me old mans roof… so I moved out when I was 16… and couldn’t afford a bike!
Eventually got it together and bought my first bike… living on the Isle of Man most my life had a huge influence. So many different bikes and people… from the age of 8 or so I wanted to know those people…
my dads workshops down the gravel pits, so as kids we spent every day weekend, holiday nailing about on chicken chasers knakered old 125s then brother got a 250 bultaco:w00t: that was cool:cool: and the mixer drivers kids had bikes aswell good days. went from there really.
