Waterproof Alpinestars that's not so waterproof

I use the nikwax wash-in stuff on my trousers (jacket has yet to be washed) - probably helps a bit but it won’t (and hasn’t) fix properly leaky kit.

It’s only drizzling today - you lot need to man up

with a police issue monkimark

I read that as POLITE !!!

Buy Rukka and spray it in ACF50  job done

And you’ll smell lovely

Just don’t come off or you’ll slide for miles

What size waterproof jacket are you looking for?

I’ve one here I’m thinking of putting on eBay. Its a XL Frank Thomas, its 100% waterproof tried and tested. It’ll keep you warm and dry whatever the UK weather throws at you.

2 things that are going to happen in the coming replies
  • People telling you there is no such thing as a 100% waterproof jackets

  • People telling you get goretex/ waterproofs from an army surplus store to wear over your normal gear.

People telling you about buying Goretex motorbike jackets, preferrably Rukka

Ha ha. My GF has a (very expensive) Rukka jacket which started leaking while it was still new. Yes, she should have brought it back but discovered a ten quid Muddy Fox jacket from Sports Direct, worn over it, works a treat.

Chuff huh…

Chuff huh…

Aye, front bottom.

Front bottom ?

Like a bottom but at the front. Laydeez has them!

Ladies…have vaginas?

Well I won’t entertain anything by Rukka anymore. Read the article “Rukka ain’t so pukka!” ( http://motorcycle-rider.co.uk/weblog-2/ ) where my friend’s Rukka jacket, that had a 5 year warranty, failed after 2 years.

Best way to stay dry is celotap bin bags over your leathers…
