Yep, I had a really good day too finished off with a lovely glass of red watching the sun go down!

Thanx Geoff for organising and the whole day seemed to work out perfectly! I think Alex aka serrisan took the sensible option by not whipping out the credit card but sure within a month he’ll have his shiny new addition! And we had to blat on down there else we would’ve missed everyone and I’m sure u enjoyed it anyway! Always helps when u know the roads pretty well!
I had a nice little ride back too, the A25 is always a better option than the central London or the motorway, though I might’ve accidently hit the A22 and started heading south again???! Standard!

Anyhow, thanx again guys, where was that place with the plane outside??? Weird!

Alex Gold what time where you down there out of interest… we rode past those amusments in your pictures and where half a mile along the beach… we there between 2.30 and 4.00

I got there just before 1 and left at half 1, I was home by half 3! Good little ride, and meant I could still go to Stratford to pick up a bulkhead for/in my van and back before the motogp! Good day all in all, but shame I didn’t see anyone I knew

Wasn’t complaining… It was supposed to have a strikethrough through it but I can’t remember the code

Only annoying thing was my wing mirror became loose (again) and anytime we pushed a bit or I hit a bump it turned so all I could see was my belly… not something you want to see at the best of times, but especially when you have a red gixxer on your tail!

Only a couple of miles up the road one of the riders, duffnut(Richard) ran in the back of suzukikev(kev). Damage to the rear tyre forced Kev to retire, the guest rider who came with him understandably pulled out as well…

hi geoff and all on rideout, rear tyre being fitted tomorrow at PDQ in taplow @ £145, trip to George White @ Slough on Sunday, Parts guy took off tail section to check damage and a pro-forma for the parts ( not a much as i expected ) so going to order parts on Saturday and hopefully settle up with Richard. Anyway no one was harmed, and always remember when waiting at a junction select neutral and have your rear brake applied (as i was) in case this happens, could have been worse.
