OK so Brown wasn’t everyones cup of tea but just wait to see what the (soon to be) new (and slippery) PM does to our/your country…I predict tears.
Well now New Labour has been given a good kick to the b0ll0cks maybe there’s a chance the party will rediscover it’s socialist roots - and not whore itself out to the likes of unregulated capitalist robber barons and imperialist texan neo-cons. 
I am just so pleased we have NO MORE LABOUR - yes - great !! No more bloodthirsty, covert far right, Orwellian ,ID card, US lackey, war mongering, power hungry, spending spree , gold reserve selling, secret rendition flight, trial without jury, police state, eroding democracy, Stalinesque, credit card addicted lunatics !! This has made my night!! I am now opening the Chardonnay - again - and on a week night also.

Heartened to find that there are a few “proper” Socialists out there. I was beginning to think the whole of Londonbikers were Daily Mail/Express readers.
As for todays events, I just fell much as I did in 1997 when New Labour got in. End of one Conservative era/start of a new one.
Cameron and Clegg can both talk a “good government” it’s going to be interesting to see if they can deliver one. My gut feeling is that it’s going to be either quite decent (if painfull) or a complete f’up and even more painfull.

At last something has been sorted and Brown has left the building. Let’s hope that we start ro recover from this mess soon but i know it will take years to sort out.
