Sheer Bike Porn

Providing the weather is sunny/lovely a week this Wednesday 21st, there should be a Desmosedici RR making its first appearance at Borough Market. Probably only have around 100 miles on the clock too. Depends on how the handover goes on Saturday. I told him that there were a buch of folks that might be interested in having a ganders.

I’ll be there on my 750 K7 stealth watching my mate lapping up all the admiring glances. Jealous much…you frigging betya :crying:

Do i get to have a go on it ?

LOOK FORWARD TO SEE YOU AND THE BIKES

loverly, so will you be asking the famous half-way through rideout question - ‘Wanna swap on the way back’ then??

OMG!!i wil be there to witness this!! i will bring me own towel…to mop up me drool…

I’m sure we would hear it before we see it… thats one awesome bike so i will def be coming along to drool over it as well. Ratty move along, i have my own box of tissues:D

lol me first!..me first!!!

I am so jealous of him (and all his excited, gloating updates via text during the extended delivery period) that I have been posting its whereabouts and security arrangements on www.pedthieves.com and www.hoodietips.co.uk :D:D:D

Remember, the real story here is my second ever appearance at a BM meet and that everyone knows a black K7 750 is the bike that God herself would ride given the chance

Sorry, but is it drool you’ll be mopping up?

FFS, it’s just another sports bike!

(sits back and watches the switchboard light up hehe  )

Haha - i’ve been looking at the trade value for that bike after he rides (puts a single mile on the clock) he’s gonna lose close to 8k???

more money then sense!!

I was chatting to someone earlier today who said he had been reading about the Ducati “Desmond Ditchi” and how he wanted one!

His mis-pronounciation sounds more like a 70’s pop singer than a bike!

Jealousy is not a good look

If i had the money i would have one, why not, along with a Lambo and a house with a pool. To own the ultimate is a target for some people, for the rest of us its a dream.

Enjoy it while you can afford it, life is too short…

And the tissues are for everyone else, me, i’m in control…

well said, thats my view on it, my cousin bought an aston martin vantage v8, lovely car,he owns the company i work for, people in work give it ‘flash so and so whats got that for’ because he can!! cos he works fugging hard;)damn if i had money for a high end sports car, well i like bikes…so desomwhatsit it would be!..ahem…amongst others:D

Nice one.

Fingers crossed I will be hammering one around Jerez later this year.

I have been promised a go on my mates when he collects it from the factory. Not sure if he was pulling my leg :w00t:

i lost more than that in depreciation on my last car, and it sure as sheoite wasn’t as interesting as a desmowill have to have a gander at this:cool:

Mate that’s not really reason why you don’t buy an iconic piece of vehicular overstatement :DIt’s red, it shows a big number on the speedo, is made from exotic parts and makes a beautiful sound. Priceless. If I could afford one, the resale value would be the last thing on my mind as I’d never want to sell it

But thats what they said about the NR750 Afro;)

Yea, life is too short. I can’t see myself buying an expensive sports car or bike even if I had the money.
Nor am I ostentatious.

Just not of your bike.

Sorry mate. Had to do it! :hehe:

@ Ratty - I don’t really understand the reaction to the chrome show monster streetfighter that was at the Ace last Friday. Don’t get me wrong, it was an impressive bit of engineering and design which, if I knew more about bikes and how they are made, I could probably appreciate it more, but it looked like to much polishing and worrying about theft for me!

True, but that was a H*nda
