I saw an NR750 at Goodwood a couple of Sundays ago. Still an awesome looking bike. But the Desmo is just another level, as close to a GP bike as your likely to buy for the road.
Well lets hope the sun is shining and we’ll see you all there…chunky’s three day rule applies
I will no doubt get to have a go at some point. Not actually jealous, just happy for him but it doesn’t do to let your mates get too big for their boots so you have to rag 'em.
I’m catching up with him for the handover on Saturday and then off for a blat - pretty excited myself although there is no way he’ll be able to stay with GSXR750 :P:D
@ Ratty - I don’t really understand the reaction to the chrome show monster streetfighter that was at the Ace last Friday. Don’t get me wrong, it was an impressive bit of engineering and design which, if I knew more about bikes and how they are made, I could probably appreciate it more, but it looked like to much polishing and worrying about theft for me!

well i see what you mean mate, i like all bikes, specailly ones that catch my eye, as that streetfighter did, and knowing it was a spondon/harris streetfighter made it even more special, a personalised bike, thats what a streetfighter is pretty much.
its kinda why i love PJ’s 1098, tis a beautifull looking bike! plus the performance, teh noise…and its a twin:D and its fairly exclusive, i will probably only get to see a Ducati DD on teh road, once or twice in my life, on the 21st i will defo be there!
if you can affford bikes like the DD or 1098 then you can afford decent security and a garage!
Thank you for the complement Ratty, but its not in the same league as the Desmo. But seeing what a front mudguard and headlight costs…:w00t: i think i will stick with mine.
Hehe.
Although sports bikes aren’t my style (perhaps that opinion will change in the future) it looks alright, I prefer more more angular lines, like an R1 e.g.
