hmm, sweeping statement. I ride a VTR thou and a scooter. What group do you lump me in? And to top it all off I also drive a white van…I think you need to look a little more closely at a situation…
MASSIVE generalisation.
That’s a motorbike equivalent of other bigotries such as racism, sexism, even gingerism! 
There are lots of bikers who want to become taxi drivers and buy scooters to do the knowledge on. There are lots of bikers who also own a scooter for other reasons.
There are also lots of bike riders who are “very annoying” and who are not courteous towards other people on bikes, because they see their bike as just another form of transport rather than something that helps to define who they are (which is often true for people who call themselves “bikers”).
So unless you posted just to cause a stir, you might want to think a little harder about what you’ve posted or at the very least the TITLE of your post. Just putting “no offence” at the beginning of a post doesn’t exempt you from trying to put a little bit of truth in. You’d do better to change the title to “SOME scooter riders are not proper bikers” - but then you wouldn’t actually be SAYING anything worth saying!!!

no, you’re fine … some people need to grow up though.
I am a scooter rider, ok new to the road. I am curtius to everyone else who’s using the road. There is a few of us scooter riders that do think about others and are polite. 
I ride…sorry I tear about during the day on my sooped up ped and i’m still the same crazy person as i am when im riding my hornet exept i love everyone
I am always curtious wave and generaly nod to everyone as i love being out of the house and away from my hum drum life so come on we ain’t all bad…

I just don’t get upset by cyclists, scooter riders, BMW drivers, WVM, even can’t complain too much about the Police (touch wood)
I honestly do ride through London every day Wandsworth through to the City & back. I just feel I’m missing out sometimes.
Nothing wrong with scooter riders.
I want whatever you’re on then dude…there are a lot of idiots on the road, but usually they are the ones riding about without a helmet, and if they do have one on, they are spotted easily - they are the ones who remove the helmet and up goes the hood!
99% of scooter riders are cool people and will look out for other bikers! (even me??)

Of course they are, they’re out there taking exactly the same risks in the same ****ty weather as you are. Just because your bit of shiny plastic goes a bit quicker and has bigger wheels doesn’t make it/you better or superior.
I do tend to give scoot riders a bit more room than bigger bike riders, only for the fact that they are more likely to be learners/inexperienced. In my experience, scoot riders are just as courteous as other bike riders, in fact sometimes more so as they are usually more willing to move over when filtering etc, whereas many riders of larger bikes will quite happily sit there filtering at 5 mph while a queue builds up behind them. There are plenty of knobs around on big bikes too
i ride a scoot at the moment, and still will when i have my full licence, be it only for work.
i always get out of the way for bigger bikes and i dont get up their arse when filtering etc, its not a race, its about staying alive!
i had a guy actually acknowledge me the other day as i moved over for him to go passed… and thats a first…
As i ride a scooter, does this mean you don`t like me. You get idiots on scooters and geared bikes.

well here we go again! the poor guy has had a bad day and some scooter rider has wound him up enough for him to post it online, and everyone has a pop at him!
