Rideout - evening Brighton run Thursday 6th August

Squinty one, me on the left. @The_Sleeper on the right.

Oh yeah, it’s illegal to go to the coast and not swim in the sea. Bring your kit!

I’ll be swimming in my leathers in this heat.

Im on the Honda today

Er just realised I’m actually wearing EXACTLY the same, even the same tee today! so look for the exact replica.

As a responsible adult, I do hope I don’t have to remind everyone about safety. I hope everyone will wear high visibility clothing. And be well rested. Not being under influence of any substances (if you are not sure, please consult your GP or local Police station).
And please remember it’s speed limit not a target. Everyone rides at his own pace.
First aid kit as well as safety triangle will be available to purchase on nearest petrol station.

Wonderful ride, so nice to meet new faces and see old ones. Thanks @nivag for leading and thanks fo @Boris for Gail gunning! Home safe. Think I got a bit of heat exhaustion. 30c and leathers is not a good combo!

Good to hear that you got home safe and sound.

Thanks to @nivag and @Boris for leading and cleaning up. Definitely a good evening, and it’s amazing that still meeting new people after all these years, certainly makes you smile. Also good see old faces as well.

Ride home not fun, A23/M23 closed awfully signposted diversions, that @kcoops caught and passed me in Crawley. And then lane closures on the M25. I suppose I must be punished for having such a fun day riding and having excellent fish & chips.

Night all, and I hope everyone got home safe and sound.

Thanks @nivag and @Boris. Great ride really enjoyed it.

Exhausted now, need some sleep.

And really good to meet new people as well…

Amen to that. I thought Google was taking the p until I understood what was going on. I think I’ve seen more of the byways of Crawley tonight than I ever want to see again.

But the ride down was ace, fish and chips were good, and the company was great. Thanks to @nivag for leading and @Boris for sweeping up. Great turn out.
