I just left the police station earlier to report an accident (a few months ago).

I told the police office i was on a 650 bike, and he replied to me about how it’s a little big for me and have expect boy racers to be on that.

I told him that its about not about the size, but about how good the rider is, from which he gave a cheeky laugh.

Why is it that all guys thinks women riders are a bit of a joke? esp petite women?

I dropped my bike out here in italy and a guy came to help pick it up. Me and him couldnt do it until another came to help - then the first guy had the cheek to say that a girl shouldnt be riding such a heavy bike!!! The fecker couldnt pick her up without help either!!!

I get this all the time, but I just ignore it. It’s mainly from non bikers. I even had some police outside my work checking my bike out to ‘see if it had been nicked’. When I said it was mine they said: ‘Not being funny love but I can’t believe YOU ride a bike like that.’

You just hold your head up high and enjoy the attention.:cool: Like Hels says, it’s from non bikers, who don’t really know what they’re talking about most of the time. And they’re probably wishing it was their bike, and their courage that was in question :laugh::wink:

I get it all the time. Whenever a guy sees me walk up to my bike it’s always the same question ‘Is that ypour bike?’ Well I have the keys so go take an educated guess! But if I’m honest, I love the disbelief. Most people, non riding women included seem to think us fairer sex should be happy with a 50cc scooter :smiley:

It used to p*ss me off the disbelief on cop’s face when you just been caught speeding and they walk upto the bike and say something stupid like…now then boyo or laddo or words to that effect and you remove your lid and then they start patronising you cos your female and riding a sixer:w00t: but that was years ago nowadays you just get chatted to about your bike…like their testing you to see if you are a real biker lol but most blokes are helpful(ish):stuck_out_tongue: besides i usually stick one of my cards under there nose(if their bikers)then the day comes when they need leather repairs done and i can get revenge by sewing their trousers linings up:D
