But that’s the dust shield/seal …
Fork seals are underneath that

Can’t see any oil leakage

The oil was all over the drive. Trying to clean up the drive…

Were you on the A413 or the A418 on Saturday heading south?

Not been on the bike this weekend, was down in Dorset, had to take the van to carry the other sort of bike.

I recognise that cafe! Is the lane off that car-park open again?

It is, but it’s been graded so not as fun anymore

I passed this E Type on the M40 it looks so small now days

Have you seen how small a '60s or '70s Jaguar saloon looks these days? When I was a kid they were considered large executive luxury barges. Now they’re smaller than a 3-Series.

I dunno the mk10 is still a big car

Did a little loop after work today through Pangbourne and Abingdon and past H Cafe or what is left of it atleast. Also got to take out my new lid for its second ride. Had to get out granted the weather is going to shit for the next week and a half.

Also these bugs, they are relentless past few rides I get in and I am properly covered could make a stew with that lot. I need to figure out how to get them put my leathers without using any harsh chemicals to damage them.

Only commuting. But priority parking at work.

@kcoops A damp cloth or sponge and a bit of motivation after your ride should be enough to debug your leathers. I swear that I spend more time getting the dead bodies off my leathers / helmet / bike than actually riding in the summer.

Warm soapy water applied with a garden type spray gun, leave 5 minutes to soak in, re-apply warm soapy water and wipe off with a microfibre cloth.

Dainese do a nice cleaner. Was good at getting year old bugs off my leathers. They also have a ‘lotion’ (?) to apply to keep the leather soft and supple

I stuck my old leathers in the washing machine with some fabric detergent and after drying and a liberal bit of Gliptone, they came up really well. I don’t think Spidi recommends that approach, though.

Oh my god, please tell me you’re kidding?
