Opinions: the most stylish denim motorcycle jeans?

Those Sarso trousers seem to have a strange sheen to them, don’t know if that’s because the guy got dragged down the road. No he isn’t going very fast but if you came off your bike at 60 miles an hour I don’t think you would be much worse off in terms of wear and tear on the trousers than at the 15mph they’re doing but you would probably break your neck anyway.
That Sarso label on the back sucks though, way too shiny.

Yeah the badge at the back is a bit ott - but they have a decent range of styles and the kevlar lining seems pretty comprehensive + the price is very reasonable. The stockist (get geared) in leatherhead is closest to me - might go and take a gander.

Might have a check. Thanks xxx

I’d phone first to check they have them in stock to gander at, as the website gives a despatch time of 1-2 weeks which would seem to imply they don’t.

I’ve got some Dragging combats which are fine, but if I was getting a pair of jeans now I’d seriously look at the Hood stuff, not least because it’s significantly cheaper; I’m sure my Dragging combats only cost me around £80 a couple of years back.

Red Route is Frank Thomas stuff & I’ve grown far too attached to my flesh over the years to ever entrust it to the appalling standard of their kit.

Hi Tom - yes occasionally  and i’m commuting on a z750 - lots of fun. How about you? Lets meet up soon?

Another thing about the Red Routes: i took the crappy armour out of the knees and replaced it with Knox and sewed extra belt loops on the back Q

Thanks Pat.

z750 - nice! I want one of them.

Will be in touch Q - must go out for a proper blat.

Teddy Smith’s…

and they hold up well in a crash too!:w00t:

Swetty knee’s today !

You were just lucky!

probably…two offs in jeans and landed on the same knee…you think i would have broke it by know!! that and clipping cat’s eye’s while knee down:w00t::smiley:

Do the draggin minx jeans run small or large? I hate ordering pants online…but there isn’t any other solution!

Ask Wasp!!!
She fitted body armour on knees and hips into a pair of my normal jeans yesterday. Job’s a good’un:cool::slight_smile:

i just woundering what do these jeans look like with armour fitted in the knees and hips. are they still comftable. i looking at getting a pair, or two but if they look bulky in this area i think i may just get them as they are

Personally I prefer Hood jeans… even though they don’t look as stylish, they have a full length layer of kevlar running down the jeans (from the waist to just below the knee) rather than just on the bits thought necessary…

They also came with Knox knee and hip protectors and are much much cheaper than draggin’s…

You can only order them through Hood directly but they are great in offering advice and can custom make the jeans for length etc…

Another vote for Hoods from me.

Although Draggins look good new I don’t think they wear very well, they seem to sag after a while amd look krapola … just like jeams yer sdad bought in Tescos…

My Hoods are still going strong with no sagging or stretching 3 years on

has anyone tested the hood jeans?
(i.e. slid down a road in them)

Draggin jeans for me, but they are the best fit I could ever get

I got Bikers Gear Australia ones off eBay…and wear the ALL the time - on the bike, at work, nights out etc…

They are the best fitting jeans I’ve had for ages, and the kevlar is just a bonus!

Blimey:w00t: Are you going to ride a bike soon?:D:D
