Normandy Weekend 25th July- 28th July 2008

No toll roads down that side of frogland, driven the roads a couple of times up from Spain, now that was a long way.

Bonjour mingers !! We made it safe n sound having great time even kml turned up last nite we doing the beaches 2moro cya all next week

Enjoy

Back safe and sound… well I am at least!

Couldn’t get the long weekend off work, but the 800 miles in three days has taken its toll on me a bit, i’m tender today!

Will get some of my photos up in the photo section today… then ginge can add the 400,000 he took while he was there!

Was a great weekend, great to meet some new folk too and some lovely roads!

Oh Kelv forgot about you, i wanted to be first to post when we got back.

Had a brill time, weather mixed, but bloody hot the Sun and Mon which wasn’t comfortable riding home. Brill company, great laugh, and after a 1000 miles I’m glad I couldn’t ride coz it would have killed me and we’d still be in France now.

Eventful moments : 2 dropped bikes (so laden and heavy), punctured tyre all the way home from Normandy and the toll lady on her phone and dropped the barrier on Ray’s head, which wasn’t funny at the time, but is sooooo funny now.

Great weekend had by Nige and I, and would definitely do it again if I could fly lol.

Will post pics tomorrow but not the one of my tits as it may embarrass Ginger.
