My new ride.

Nice bike. Can’t say that I’m a major fan of the panigale cause I like the 1098/1198 underseat pipes but I bet it still sounds like sex

The rear of the panigale should be more substantial. Its as if they removed the exhaust and just left things… but I never liked under-seat exhausts. PJ could have chosen a nicer colour though :stuck_out_tongue:

Saw a yellow one ! rear tail area is much smaller that the 1198 and i guess thats all down to there being no more trellis sub frame.

Oh and Peej , what we talked about : http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_trksid=p5197.m570.l1313&_nkw=termignoni+stickers&_sacat=0

PJ –

What you have purchased there is a symbol of vulgar gentrification, a bourgeois pastiche of the london biker.

**** it, I’m so jealous now, I rode with one last night on some roads up near Tring, and it’s just absolutely lovely…and that sound…

Imho it’s the most beautiful sport-bike at the moment… superior in every single detail.
Performance wise, we’re here in the never ending debate of “Ducati, hate it or love it”.
I do believe that if it fits perfectly for your weight and height, and you’re able to master it… then there’s no competition mate!
Good on you PJ, I really love your bike!!!

Thanks mate.

It’s an amazing bike now I can use all the power:w00t:

Looks fantastic. With regards to whether it is better, worse or equal to any other bike, I suspect you really don’t care and rightly so.

Nothing wrong with a little jealousy.
Especially if you don’t have money to pay for enough food or a social life let alone the millions DucAudi are asking for one them

bike porn simple as!!! Almost makes me wish i didn’t go away last year!!

One of my biking mates has just bought the Panigale Tricolore and I have to say the bike in the flesh is simply stunning - the tech stuff is amazing.

Quite a performance running it in - only up to 6k for the first 600 then building up to full revs for the next 600.

It sounds great with the standard exhausts - can’t imagine how loud it is going to be when it is run in and the Termignoni installed!

Louder than that I believe they do a full race exhaust.

Couple of things that did concern me is that it puffs a bit of smoke when started after being left overnight - could be rings not yet bedded in and the Corsa tyres are nothing more than slicks in disguise :w00t:. Special rear tyres (200/55) are not going to be cheap but I suppose if you can afford the bike you can afford the tyres.

The new bike has had a nasty effect on re-sale values of the 1198.

It’s a stunna! Bike equivalent of owning a Ferrari.

Well I love it no matter what you all think

‘its my football and i’m going home!’

SEXY!!! :w00t:

Lets have a look the ducati 1199 panigale that sold in Japan.

Due to the rules in Japan, the 1199 panigale has been restricted to

135HP/8,000RPM
11.1kgm/8,000RPM
with a ugly bulky carbon exhaust on the side instead of original exhausts under belly pans.
