Bikes can be so expensive, but you only live once so followthe dream and get the R1.

most of the R1’s i was looking at were actually cheaper than the R6’s, for some strange reason. i would swing towards the R1 purely because the spark plugs are just THERE when you open the bike up, oh the joy! :laugh:
distance and mileage are going to play a big part in the final choice, also it HAS to be silver. i just can look at the blue and red versions, i do like the yellow one but i’d never want to steal the spot off Flats
i’m not in any hurry, i’m actually enjoying getting very fit on my 5 miles daily walkies now that my legs are working well again.

Why care about the colour… If a bike is a good deal then its a good deal. I’d rather have a pink R1 that won’t give me any hassle than a silver one that will break down every 5 mins.
Issue is with the insurance being more expensive, even though the R1 might be cheaper…you checked that yet, Alba?

no havent checked with insurance yet. its still going to be valid until renewal next year in august, so they can rape me later on. :laugh:
Not sure thats the case when you have a claim thats a write off you might wanna check first as it could be pricey to reinsure any new bike
