Indeed, if we didn’t respond to new information then we’d be irresponsible. I’m as much behind outing the criminals that plague our lives as much as the next guy, especially after having a bike stolen myself, but it’d be a total bummer situation if we came to be the ones in court next.
Interesting date for him to be back at court. How did you find out about the date?
Personally I back the mods. I dont always agree with what they say, but there are mods for a reason. I try to keep any disagreement I have with them offline. There is never going to be a set of rules that pleases everyone, because we are (thankfully!) all different, so you either accept that or you dont. A lot of you will know that Ive been kicked off a forum before for doing less and Ive learnt the hard way (and I dont mean that as a threat, by the way, just as an explanation of where I am coming from). At least, here, substantiated and broadly inoffensive views are allowed to be aired within reasonable guidelines and I think that’s right and proper. You dont just get kicked off because the owner of the site doesnt like you.
In this instance I agree with the hiding of the thread. I dont agree with vigilanteeism - I believe that the law is a product of society and if we dont like it we must change it. That’s why we have politics. That’s one of the reasons I studied law - I wanted to know what my rights were without having to rely on anyone else for that information. If you dont think that law and politics work and feel that strongly about it, then get involved and make something happen. That’s why I started a thread about bike security and what we were going to do about it and why Im backing the database initiative and trying to help make sure that it complies with rules and regulations. There are many initiatives that people don’t take advantage of and these are good ideas going by the wayside because people think it will never happen to them. I agree with promoting the numbers of bike thefts, but not in singling people out in vengeance.
I do believe in karma and if this bloke really exists (and Im sure he isnt the only one), he has a bucketload coming to him…
last time he went there were a few KTM riders waiting outside. Apparently being known and spotted is not to his liking and when aware of how many people know his face it might cause him to change occupations …maybe sell crack or something nice like that.
He will have an audience when he has his next court appearence. Read some of the comments about him on the KTM forum and in the “lost, stolen or scams” post. He and his little friends have accounted for a lot of thefts and a few of the KTM forum member have been in constant contact with the police over this scrote. There is a lot that is not yet in the public domain that will be out after the 11th.
well lets hope he gets what he deservs. I am thinking maybe I shoudl have **** loads of kids, make them all little ninjas and run some kind of kid mafia since all the workers will be protected as they will be under 16:)
Imagine all the little ninjas runninga round mugging people, getting into houses, stealing cars and bikes… yeye!!!
My new business venture… now how long would it take to make about 50 kids?? maybe I need to have multiple girlfriends and move to Basildon… that would work… yeah…
I think we should go look for him, since we will all wear balaclavas and helmets it will be quite hard to prove who it was, kick his ass, strip him naked and tape him to a lamp post at the ACE:)
That’s the guy I saw this morning, went over Westminster Bridge, round Parliament Square then up Whitehall, past Trafalgar Square, disappeared along Cockspur Street heading towards the West End (St James’ Square?).
FFS… he is still out and about?? Well what if a Car let’s say hits him?? Since scooters and bikers always get the blame plus since he is uninsured wtf is he gonna do lol?? besides you can always run him over and claim you sneazed.
Seriously, if 100 bikers go after him… what can the Police do??? They surely cannot put 100 people in prison for 1 idiot? Man should have stopped and kicked him off.
Again remember he hangs around the same area, to name more specific Grays Inn Road.
I used to live right off grays inn road, and used to see him a fair bit when I was riding around the area, thankfully, I had secure car parking underground and didnt have to leave my bike outside…
It doesnt suprise me that he is still about, its clearly a big earner for him and his mates…twats.
Result! five and a half years, so he’ll serve at least two and a half. Would it be wrong for me to wish that he gets bum raped every day in the showers!!!.. :w00t:
Great news! Shows it progresses, starts with nicking scooters, then bikes, then robbery then armed robbery etc. And the conservatives say prisons dont work.
