I might regret asking this......

At the weekend I rode hubbys Blackbird!

Now it was only for about 5miles, it was a bit quicker than my SV650 (actually it was bl**dy brilliant)

Well, I know realise, having never ridden any other bike apart from my SV and DAS bikes, that the SV really is quite vibraty for me, the Blackbird just felt sooo smooth, so once I get a new job (hopefully will find out today/tmrw) then I will be looking to change the SV for either a CBR or GSX!

Why those two, hubby recommends the CBR (his first bike) and I’ve always had a love for the GSX - never had posters on my wall of boy bands, was always bikes!

Right, what do you ‘so called experts’ recommend??

Oh yeah and Chunky, what is this SRAD thing all about? I haven’t got a clue what it means and what difference it makes, I believe your the guy to ask

JUDAS!!! thats its…finish…how could you!! i mean an IL4!!! WOOOOOOtt!!!:w00t:

CBR everyday of the week it’s fantastic

not you n all! ssssssshhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

Ducati Monster for the lady;)

Sorry Ratty, I knew you’d take it personally :crying:

on thAt note though is an L-twin allowed in the V-twin club? if not i won’t be buying the 999 next year.

Don’t worry Ratty, someone mentioned keeping the SV as a track day bike - plenty of knee down action!

Of course, Vegas has an L twin, it’s all about :Dthe thud;)

If we can ‘sort the funds’ then yes, we will keep the SV as a track day bike :w00t:

I’ll just keep of the V/L-Twin vs. Inline four, and say you’re all wrong. Parallel twin all the way.

Seriously have a look at the CBR600F, not quite as insanely race orientated, but still quick, and far more comfortable.

The CBR600F is the equivalent of the Mondeo, it’s comfy.

The GSXR are the dogs (and yes I’m biased having ridden both) and give alot more excitement… Don’t take our word for it on here as everyones opinion differs in vast ways, try and get test rides on both.

+1

Only you will know what feels right on the day:cool:

was that a noise?..who said that!??,…

SORRY TO SAY BUT CBR ALL THE WAY.

BUT LOVE GSXR AS WELL

One of each is the way forward :stuck_out_tongue:

I have a CBR600F, it’s my first bike and I love it but I have had thoughts of late of chopping it in for a GSXR600 :ermm: Just get whatever you feel comfortable with and like the look of, only way to decide really

not biased at all  but the 'bird does it all for me comfy for gentle cruising and can hustle if the mood takes you, just ride the waves of torque and no dancing a fandango wiv the box to get anywhere

so CBR1100XX rocks

CBR600, failing that a ZZR600

Don’t forget the Thunder Thunder ThunderCat:D

HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
