I might regret asking this......

GSXR. Of course I’m biased.
CBR is softer and heavier.

Whats wrong with soft and heavy???:P:D:D

PMSL

Gixer but test drive both!!

+100  Not that I’m biased. Honest guv.

Jay, yeah, yeah, I know what you’re gonna say. Whatever.

Soft and heavy! :ermm: you obviously aren’t talking a new CBR6.

if you live in a crime ridden area like me then you will prob find the CBR is cheaper to insure than a gixer

wouldn’t worry too much about a few kgs here or there cause unless you are very good/experienced or slightly nuts you won’t be pushing either one hard enough on the road to see a massive difference

try both and go with the one that brings the biggest smile

Edit: arf! just re-read your post and saw the ‘experts’ ref, you can definitely ignore my post then

Soft and heavy! you obviously aren’t talking a new CBR6

Old school CBR600F is soft and heavy compared to same era Gixer. Soft suspension, heavy rider…no heavy weight - a few kilos. Not as sharp steering.

CBR600RR is hard and light.

Amen to that!

That’s an unfair comparison:P

Old school CBR600f should be compared to the GSX600 which was a milky jelly compared to the CBR;)

Soft and heavy…milky jelly…we are still talking about bikes here aren’t we :w00t:

dunno what they are on about…its all about teh vee side!

Now I’m thinking…jelly, custard, bouncy castle, Mr. Blooby and other big round soft objects.

Peeps in the office wondering what I’m laughing at.

CBR each and every single mother fugging time!!!:stuck_out_tongue:

CBR600RR for the lady as the CBR600F is a bit hefty and no-where near as exciting to ride. (Comfy though!)

If it has to be a Gixxer, then the 750 would be my choice (or a Busa would be nice!)
