I’ve had an accident this afternoon, I’ve been in the back of an ambulance and spoken to the police.
I was just coming off a small round in New Barnet and about 20 yards later a silver Mini did a you-turn in front of me coming the other way and as I tried to avoid him the bike slipped and I went down on the ground. I was knocked out for a while and came to hearing are you ok, next thing I know the police and ambulance arrived and checked me out and I feel fine at the moment but that could change at anytime.
The police took the details of the guy in the mini and I have a witness aswell as cctv coverage if needed.
My bike is not rideable and my jacket, trousers and helmet and no good anymore.
I have rang my insurance up and they have sorted me out a courtesy bike and I should have that in the next couple of days.
Let’s hope I get my bike back soon.

Not good to hear. Get well soon and I hope you get the insurance side of things sorted asap. I had a lane changing numpty this morning, no indicating just swing out and go. I was lucky, dry road and I was going slowly enough to be able to stop in time…

When I told my insurance which car it was, she said " oh no not another". She told me that so far this week she has had to deal with 7 mini’s causing accidents.
I’m getting picked up for work tomorrow a long as I feel fine, but if not I shall rest.

Must be something with Mini’s…I gave one a load of verbal today (I was in the car though), well, I wasn’t when I gave it some verbal…went right up to the guys window (will end up getting myself in trouble one day :P)
