Then there was the 20+ ride out that meandered it’s way from the Ace to High Beech and on to Finchingfield that pulled into Colchester Station only to discover the ride out leader was playing in Sudbury :w00t: Eventually re-grouping in Tiptree for a ride out that had a bit of everything A TimR pootle covering the BCR route with a section lead by Jetstream.
Seriously, if your new to ride outs TimR is a good starting point
Not been on a TimR ride-out, but I do think any well organised ride will be ok. Flatout’s ride to Brighton a few years ago was my first introduction to the cornerman system, and the Jetstreams also use this system to great effect, which is why I’ve adopted it in my ride-outs, too. I am sure that any rider should be comfortable riding with any of these groups.
Like the Jets have said…get out there whilst the weather’s good.
