Nope. But I heard a whisper that all the local undercover bikes are black.
And will be trundling along in the inside at less than 70 I imagine, can’t have the constabulary speeding without good cause can we now? So you might see them unless you’re going so damn fast that the world is a Dr Who style blur.
exactly, & yes easyrider there are loads of undercover police motorcycles out there!.
cos you speed a lot like it’s lawful - or so you may weirdly believe, that’s something to be happy then to freely write on here then huh?. maybe it is acceptable in pakistan - not here.
whatever!. try telling that to someone who has lost someone to a speeding offence!.
you won’t be such an easyrider when your fcuked for speeding!.
I’ve heard a rumour that there are more undercover biker cops on the road than you may think.
I read somewhere on the net that when you give that traditional bikers nod on average every 15-20 times you’ve nodded an undercover copper, I reckon that’s complete b0ll0ck$!!!
Just take it easy and remember not to speed too often because my fellow bikers, they will throw the book at ya!
well I wont need to worry about u being an undercover bike copper as you are still busy cleaning horse **** at the hammersmith police station stables waitng for promotion
There was an unmarked bike that was part of a stop (traffic car too) on a white van on the A13 heading East, yesterday morn. Looked like a dark blue old shape Pan. Dark blue could be his undercover black!
Plod aren’t gonna be daft enough to have all unmarked bikes the same colour…are they?:hehe:
I can’t imagine there are more than a handfull of undercover bikes in the UK, they have anough trouble with the marked bikes. How many marked police vehicles do you see ? Out here in the winderness we see maybe one a week at most unless you drive past a police station so the chances of being near an unmarked one is almost nill unless you go somewhere they are targetting like the cat and fiddle.
speed is the 21st century evil, like facism in the 20th century, and the police have made it their policy, not the government but the police have said they want to make people think of speeding like we all now think of drink driving…
and they will win becuase most people do not stop and think about these things, nor question their motives…we have become as the sheep and lemmings in this country and the motorist is easy game…the biker even easier as we generally have less money…or so they think,
The increase in biking is a real scare to the police and they are not totally wining the speed debate…we all know the lies that they have used in the past and we are now much more knowledgeable about the fact that speed is not the cause…its just has a proportional effect on the result.
The next ploy will be just that, you cant stop and accident happening but if your travelling at 30mph you will be much less likely to die…this is already happening with the child/car thing…and you have all heard what those two plonkers are saying to the government about having bikes go slower than cars…
All these initiatives about speeding and our new crimes, you dont here much about initiatives on reducing bike theft, or burglary or what most people see as real crimes…
Can’t say I have particularly seen any. I know they used to have a video equipped blade that used to turn up at boxhill on Sundays on a regular basis, it had plenty of speeders.
Agree 100%, my drive to work is along a nsl country B road . . . it’s safe to do 60 all the way with the odd corner down to 50 or so but Mr and Mrs Numptie seem to so 35-40 all the way now. Although the speed may have reduced the quality of driving has gone down too, it’s common to see people drinking coffee, shaving, women putting on makeup, mobile phone use and people simply just not watching what they’re doing along with the fact that so many people just don’t take their driving seriously. This is the result of the current campaign . . . speed kills . . . but everything else is OK ! So why are deaths and injuries RISING over the past few years . . .(Taken from www.safespeed.org.uk Have a look for some facts about speeding)
its a part of the overall campaign to stop investing in making roads faster safer, and making cars slower safer…hit something at 100 and or 70 and reults are the same…death…you dont see this advertised do you…so why 70…why not 100…why not higher…why not on some of the roads have unrestricted sections…its all possible…
I dont see why not, its not about safety its about limiting our freedoms, control of the population…
Because the ‘speed kills’ slogan is so catchy, though it’s utter b0ll0cks people now believe that speeding (meaning breaking the speed limit) is inherently dangerous. The thing that really worries me is that those same people who now believe it also now appear to believe that the reverse is also true, that if you don’t ‘speed’, (i.e. you obey speed limits at all times) you will be safe. That is also utter b0ll0cks, and a whole lot more dangerous.
