Ging…

Sorry to hear of your bad news mate. Hope the 6 months go as fast as you did on the motorway lol

There’s a lesson to be learnt here… Don’t get caught!

man was not born criminal but fell into error through unfortunate circumstances or the influence of negative elements.

You gonna miss all summer! At least you don’t have to do a re-test (or do you). Are you back in six months with 17 points?

Keep the chin up Ginger, the time will fly by and before you know it you’ll be back with us, think of all that beer you’ll be able to buy instead !

he will most probrbley get done for being drunk in charge of his feet if he hits the beer!!!hehehehe

I find it amazing the loon had a brief in the first place !!

as much as I love the ginge…hes a quality liability !!

Big shout to da loon !!

hhahahahahahahahahaha!!!

WHAT??!!

Ginge,

IGNORE THAT ADVICE OR YOUR GOING TO GET DONE FOR DRIVING WHILST DISQUALIFIED.

Gixxer 750,

that is irresponsible advice and could make life a lot worse for Ginger…

If you are disqualified from driving in this country it automatically supercedes ANY licence you hold.

The Magistrates have banned you from driving in this country…and that’s exactly it, banned in THIS country.

your 6 months will soon go Ginge…

Incorrect.

TrafPol Officers do not all have to hold Bike licences.

On my base there are 4 bikers out of 27 officers.

on my shift alone, if a biker gets stopped more often than not they will give me a shout if they want something looked at more closely.

Bottom line is, if they think your riding is unsafe your going to get looked at more closely…

knee down is not required for everyday road riding, but if you really have the urge to draw attention to yourself then fill yer boots…

Behave Ginge…Listen to the Porkster.

Sit nice and tight and you,ll be back on the razz soon enough !

At last…Sanity

Sorry Fella, think you will find you need a valid licence or ACU to partake in a track day. 99% of the ones Ive been on have asked to see at least the paper part of my licence during sign on.

ok, stand corrected on that - was pretty sure i was told that by a copper (may have been the dude who was being nob and trying to have a go at me for having no mirrors too come to think of it)

i’m not saying knee down is required by any means. however i know from riding with friends that on one big fast roundabout near my parents i was apparently almost touching down without realising. i agree you dont ‘have’ to hang off your seat, but i prefer it. The bike safe guy i was with was carrying more than enough lean angle to have had his knee on the floor but was sat in his seat. is that more safe then?

if you come round a 30mph blind corner at 60 mph decked out then yeah, you’re in nonce. its just the daft statement that your knee touching the floor by its very nature is unsafe. its not

Johnny,

A confident rider will utilise the full lean angle of the bike and to plant a knee would be relatively easy…

unfortunately the ones that hang right off the bike to touch tarmac usually look all over the place and thier the ones that get tugged…look smooth and at one with the bike your not going to get noticed…

unless of course you fitted titanium sliders that morning…

I can just about knee down just sitting on the bike as I’m a lanky git. Still on some corners, I have to keep my knees firmly pressed to the tank - I don’t have sliders either… I just enjoy riding smoothly and making safe progress.

Yes mate…That’s what I was trying to say…

Donington last year was one of the few that didn’t ask to see one…But this year I was asked in writing, but not asked on the day at Bikesafe…

To be honest, they were pretty lax at Bikesafe as my bike wasn’t scrutineered, I wasn’t asked to see a wrist band indicating that I’d been briefed (by Ron Sideburns ), and I wasn’t asked to show my licence.

Any Motorsport Vision owned track will ask to see a licence though…That’s many tracks.
