Apparently it’s less serious than the other way around; drain/flush/refill is probably all that’s needs doing. You could call outline of those wrong duel companies?
Assuming the diesel is contained within the petrol tank and hasn’t entered the fuel system proper, as above an easy fix.
Completely drain the petrol tank, this may require removing it. Check if any diesel has entered the fuel system before refilling with petrol.
To check if any diesel has entered the fuel system disconnect the fuel pump to fuel rail line at the fuel rail end, place in bowl and turn the ignition on and check what gets pumped out. If petrol the jobs done, if diesel you may want to remove the injectors and flush the entire system and replace the fuel filter before refilling.
Worse case scenario of diesel entering a petrol engine can result in total engine failure caused by hydrostatic lock.
I’m with NT on this
But I would say don’t panic flush the system through
If it was me I would take the spark plugs out and press the stater to turn the bike over for a few mins
Resting the stater of course during that time
Really from what I read Diesel engines ue the fact that diesel is more lubricating than petrol (which is a solvent) and therefor petrol can cause lot of damage to things such as fuel pumps and injectors.
The easiest way to work it out is
You can put a petrol pump nozzle into a diesel filler neck
You can’t out a diesel nozzle into a petrol filler neck
Having filled my diesel car up with petrol quite a few times now I have gained abit of knowledge on the matter and a diminished wallet
If you want to flush the system through and clear any diesel in the bores take the plugs out and turn the bike over its will pump it straight out of the plug hole
Petrol into diesel up to a 1/3 mix is beneficial in instances of artic temperatures it stops the diesel waxing ( goes lumpy). .
Can also be used to raise performance slightly in warmer climes but can promote a lot more combustion heat .
Diesel in petrol .nope not good .
If bike has cut out and depending on if its carbs or FI
DRAIN tank and using clean fuel give it a good swirl about and redrain .disconnect fuel hoses from its termination point.
Remove spark plugs and clean
Clear fuel lines and flush .
Fuel pump drain and flush
Carbs … open drain screws and flush .
FI reconnect fuel line pump and flush thtough undoing the return hose to clear .
Reconnect everything bar the plugs
Fill with fuel correct .couple of litres
Reprime the system with a few starting operations
Put plugs back and start .
Do not rev ! (May require minor idle adjustment (higher) Allow it to idle ( it may run rough to start with ) just let it flush itself round .
Stop …
Drain from the lowest point (carbs drain plug ) FI return hose .
Refill with new fuel and you should be sorted . ( i hold no liability for any of the above being undertaken and it is given as advice only .)
Power loss in engine along with some smoke, I stopped immediately .
Please give me some good news.

You have diesel in the fuel system that requires flushing out.
I’d be inclined to disconnect the fuel lines at the injectors, flush the entire fuel system with fresh petrol and replace the fuel filter or, you could take a chance drain and refill the tank and let it fast idle at c1500 revs until the smoke clears, no smoke no diesel.
Its your time, your money and your risk as to how proper a job you do.
