Hindsight is certainly the best form of forward planning. It would have been sensible to have headed out over the river but it didn’t occurr to me at the time.
I’m comprehensive but the insurance underwriters made comment that they keys were in it!!
I also had a an accident claim in Feb this year (also not my fault), so fully expect the insurance to crucify me.
bloody hell mate, 10 plate cb1000r is a stunning bike… feel very very sorry for you. Glad you are ok and not hurt but still you have the right to feel very sorry for yourself. Good luck with insurance etc. Any pictures of the bike incase it is seen?
Please tell me that they’re not going to try and get out of a claim because you got yanked off your bike and were not able to pull the keys out first… Surely they cannot try that technicality???
VERY SORRY TO HEAR THIS. I am gutted for you, really gutted.
The whole thing is just making me absolutely sick right now.
(Oh and Peckham is normally okay - I used to ride through it twice a day on my way to work and back and have friends there, you were not to know that would happen to you)
It just seems to be getting worse and more destructive by the minute.
Can’t believe the insurer wants to review this case. Stop dissing Peckham and the rest of SE London peeps. It’s where I live and these are special circumstances It’s happening all over London!
Sorry to hear about this Burty but glad that you are ok
