The expression is “a bit puddiney” till warm. But great grip.
26/27 is the highest pressure I have ever run with the bt90’s.

so cold temp + 36/42 psi = not a good idea
gotcha!
I personally don’t use those pressures.
I am under the impression that there is a regulation or recommendation from the powers that be that tyres shd be constructed for use at a certain psi. I believe its around 40psi. I may have this completely wrong.
I wld imagine tyre manufacturers make tyres not just at speed ratings a and usage - touring, fast road etc. A light weight SM that tops out at 110mph surely shdnt use a tyre for a 600cc supersport RR 170mph weapon that’s double the weight?
I’d try knocking the pressures back at 3psi increments and see what happens.
fitted a booster plug yesterday and went for a test drive.
it seems to have cured a few minor issues with stalling when cold and way better responce at tiny throttle openings.
also made it even more prone to accidentally lifting the front wheel!!
Nice! But… get your own thread
thought it would be useful to have all info in one place?
