I’m at Silverstone 30th July and there’s a Donington at the beginning of July I’ve yet to confirm:)Anyway what’s wrong with Brands, if it’s good enough BSB it’s good enough for you:DI’ll never get bored of the place;)
EdwardHitler, Cadwell is a great track, Brands is better IMO and Donington is unbeatable.
You’re on the list mate!
Zeph11, welcome aboard:)…seeing you on the Zed scratching around Brands is quality, I could see you were having a lot of fun…the good news is that it gets better.
JB, Yes Donington as you know is my favourite circuit, the tricky conditions last year could not stop us having fun out there:cool: Apparently the 4th July booking I have has 4 groups so I’m going to find out a bit more what It’s about before posting up.
Agreed Afro! I haven’t ridden the GP circuit for a while but walked a few laps of it at the first BSB round and wished I could have ridden it then. It’s very technical with flowing high speed, cambered, blind and a few hills thrown in for good measure:cool:
seriously considering making this my first track day…
just a couple of questions b,
do they have paddock stands down there you can use? i’ll be able to bring a few spanners etc down in me bag but a paddock stand will be tricky!
also, i’m on a bog standard (suspension wise) f5 hornet. which is distinctly average at best! will i get found out on track or should she cope ok? i’ve got the rear shock on a nice firmish setting but the forks are reet spongey. i don’t hang about but as this is my first trackday i wanna concentrate on technique, doing things properly and not crashing! so i spose i should be ok with the standard set up…?
Will let B answer the others, but on the LB trackday one of the instructors was hooning around on a hornet, think you will have no issues mate, firm up the sus a little and you will be rocking.
