Best route to Poland

Hi all. I am driving to Poland on Monday the 18th. Google maps has shown three possible routes. Which one is best? My cousin has done the drive once before and he took the top route passing Berlin and was quite happy with it. Any reasons to chose one of the other two? Im looking to take the best fast motorway route.

And driving… unless by driving you mean riding and then you shouldnt use any motorways and definately not the quickest route!

Driving I am this time :smiley: Not riding. Because im driving and I happen to have quite a fast car I want to have a go on the unrestricted bits :smiley: :smiley:

I did the middle route some 12 years ago. Was quick and you can open up the power on the car. Sadly I was in a 1.4 Vauxhall estate, so that meant I was doing 80mph… tops!

We used to have an Audi S8, and drove to Poland 3-4 times a year. It was superb on the autobahn, and some Polish friends removed the electronic 155mph speed limit. I miss that car :slight_smile:

What car you got then as most are limited to 155 so although its unrestricted road, you will still be restricted! :smiley:

Avoid the Brussels ring road if your in a car, it’s not much fun on a bike either

Z4 2.5i. Its good for 140 odd mph. I very much doubt it will hit 155mph. Not the fastest car but one that I enjoy driving very much.

I was thinking about taking the ferry to the Hook of Holland however I did not book tickets in time.

Best way is to bypass the place its full of racists. Never going back there.

enjoy your drive. even 11 hours on a motorway are better than flying.

i hate flying for what it has become. you wanna see racism, go to any airport and try going anywhere without being treated as a fucking terrorist! :smiley:
