I wouldn’t be surprised in the not to distant future that a good proportion of bikes in central London would be electric. You can just imagine the ULEZ becoming a ZEZ,
Honda hornet…
do you find it's width a hindrance? me_groovyI don't use the rear panniers , they came with the bike, I do use a back box which is great for all my gear`!.
With the rear panniers you can’t filter, I tried and scrapped a few cars!!
I've been commuting on a Versy 650 for the last few years and it a best commuting bike I have had (Passed commuting bikes:- Hornet,CBR, RR, ER6, GSXR)I was out on the Ducati (1098s) at the weekend and getting back on the Versy in the morning was strange, the only way I can describe it is as a SUV of bikes!Nice high seat postion to see traffic, very comfy seat, good wind protection. I find I can move and weave around in traffic, nice reliable engine, cheap to service.
I do enjoy riding it,

Comfy!!!
I was thinking more about the bars
CB500X looks nice. Slim, economical, long service intervals and more than enough “poke” for commuting. ABS too!
