We received this thanks by email this morning. When people who’ve been through such hardship take time out after such an exhausting weekend to find us and thank us for supporting them, well, it brings a lump to my throat, which is still there whilst writing this…
A massive thank you to all the guys (and girls) that supported us this weekend on the Aviva Weekend to Breakthrough Breast Cancer…you really were our knights in shiny armour (or more appropriately, grubby leather!!)
Fantastic to see the support along the way - you really made such a difference to our moral … although not sure how accurate your claims of camp being ‘just around the corner’ were, at the end of the first day … that ‘corner’ seemed several miles off!!
That’s amazing! We’d do it all again just to see the detirmination of the people on the walk! They kept me going on both days - the positive attitude of all the walkers made the event for me!

i was one of the walkers at the weekend to breakthrough breast cancer (i was the one wearing the pink hula outfit!)… i’d just like to thank all your team for helping us all out with crossing the roads and beeping us on our way along the streets of london. you really lifted our spirits when we needed it which helped take our minds off our sore feet and weary legs! Myself and my mum even got recognised by one of your blokes…Jody?(he told me his name when the music was blaring out loudly on saturday night, so not sure if i got his name right!?)… he’d seen us at another charity walk in august at Bigfoot in Cheltenham…and had remembered us from that! You were all a great help and have made the event even more memorable for us.

We are the Three Women that were lucky enough to get close to you and the Team for talks in the Brunch Zone on the Second Day. We planned our vacation from Washington DC USA around the Breakthrough Weekend Date and we are so happy we did.
We were and still are overjoyed at the Love and Hospitality the UK gave us but our most dearest moments were all off The Orange Knights. The Care and Attention you gave us all are never to be forgotten.
We were all “Slamdunked” at the bravery of your Female Riders, they were on Patrol in some of the more zones that I would not like to have had to be in but their loyalty to The Walkers, The way they Zipped through the Streets on those Big Machines and The Smiles and Cheers from them did not respite!.
If you Guys are ever in DC then you know you have Family there and it would be Awesome to have you as our guests if you wanted a vacation stop over.
A couple of girls in my office took part in the Breast Cancer Weekend and asked me to pass on the following message:

We took part in the walk for Breakthrough Breast Cancer at the weekend and to say we struggled would be an understatement. However due to your amazing pert tits, droopy tits and constant smiles and banter we finished with a big grins on our faces. We honestly couldn’t have done it without your help and seriously thank you for the bottom of our hearts.
This is an extract from a voice mail call Ive had whilst out walking the Dog, its from a Nurse that was on the Camp (Official Ambulance Crew) and approached me while I was outside the Dispatch Portakabin on the first day.

This is Linda the staff nurse from The Royal Free Hospital, we spoke briefley on Camp, you probably wont remember me as you and your troup were fighting off your adoring fans but Id like to stay in touch as we have a lot of fundraisers for under priv children and people that are terminally ill.
We would be elated if you and the people from the bikering community would be interested to do what you did over the weekend for us (smaller scale).
If you would be kind enough to give me your community site address and some other details over the phone (this number) Id really like to talk to you all further.
You all looked fantastic, did a fantastic job and you were the talk of the Park.
id support them again next itme or even next week shame we couldnt have done the birmingham one as well it would have been good to be reconised in two big towns
what a fantastic weekend.i still feel we didnt do anything special ,just making sure they were all safe with a bit of encouragment here and there ,it was such a laugh to do and like everyone else i would do it again.if what we did spurned everyone to reach there goal and feel great about themselfs then thats good enough for me and i loved every minute of it,we had the easy part some of them hills were huge.
