I know nothing can console you on the loss of your bike. A year on, I am still just as filled with rage about the theft of my bike and the purchase of another has done nothing to dampen the fire of hatred that is still burning brightly. Even the toughest biking gangs in the States would never take other bikers ride.
Most of you haven’t seen me out for some time. Blade’s post sadly rings true. The sad thing is, socialising is part of the biking culture. It’s not the same going for a blat by yourself.

Got MCN the other day to look for another bike, automatically turned to R6s, but none are as nice as mine, so depressed still. Should I get another R6 or have something different? Either way almost feels disloyal. Why did I not have a tracker fitted???
Hey Andrea so so sorry for your loss. As for another R6 they seem to go walkies a lot. ChrisD who use to be on here had his Xreg one stolen some time ago. They dont seem to mind about age they will have an R6 no matter what age it is.
I know you loved your R6 a lot and other bikes I can suggest that would suit you are a ZX6 like mine or a CBR600 both good bikes and quite cheap as well plus not quite so sort after either. Good luck with the search anything I can do let me know.
Daft question alert … how exactly do they hide a tracker on a bike? Are they little wee things?!
So sorry to hear about this Andrea! It’s a really sh1tty thing to have happen and I hope they catch up with the thieving b@stards … they should then let everyone who’s bike they’ve nicked have 5 minutes in a room with them and a weapon of choice!
