I got 3 locks on the door and a security light outside and I will put a door alarm (4.99 from maplin) also and at night I park my car right to the door so no one can open it.

Did you have to get planning permision to put that up?
No dont need permission as its all temp structure of wood…
flame retardant would be good. maybe it’s harder for them to steal now so they’ll just torch the thing instead.
With a shed that big I’d have added a toilet and sink, mains power and moved into it !

If your using one of those shed alarms that buzz for 30/45 secs before they are set or are disarmed, buy two and take the little buzzer out of one of them, that way when the scumbags break in, they will only smash the one thats buzzing, allowing the other one to go off and hopefully alert you or someone.
just noticed that he said he parks his car next to it at night…not that i would ever dream of doing such a thing but if it were to go up in flames he’d loose his bike, car, and then his house from the car exploding. Seems like a GTA 4 setup to me:blink:
This is not the bronx I live in but saying that my neighbours car got torched because they could not manage to steal it. At the end of the day I am trying my test to protect my property and if some one comes ands puts a gun to my head then I have to give him the keys…point is you can do only so much.

I hope you have attached a diagonal cross members to the back wall or it could fall over on its side. It only nees a knock or strong winds.
There are 5 vertical wood lumps screwed to the wall and the structure…
Forgot the razor wire, guard dogs, electrified fence, armed guards, CCTV, tear gas…
So all you have done is given them somewhere warm and secluded to work on nicking your bike??? 
I would have put a lock lower down on the door as well and the flame retardent stuff mentioned earlier sounds like an excellent idea. Ground anchor inside, maybe.
But if they want it they’ll take it 
Personally I would remove their hands and then deny them state aid.

Very nice! Though I would look into whether or not you need planning permission as regardless of the materials used, it’s of size and very close to the public highway. I too built something similar in a driveway and had hassle from the Council. Luckily I moved shortly after so it was a moot point.
