I would of put a skin of chicken wire in between the inner and outer walls to make it harder get through them. A battery reciprocating saw would make short work of that shed otherwise. But that might be of a overkill.
Would a brick ‘pen’ about three/four feet high full of anchors and locks and things that they could have climbed into but couldn’t have lifted the bike out of (or, come to think of it, the car…) but would be seen from the road trying to so have been a better solution?
Just a thought!
Almax chain and ground anchor and when you ring them, speak with the Guy, he has interesting :D;)
:w00t:suggestions!
NO that one got stolen I have a bandit 650…but they steal anything now…
hmmmm:doze: he meant the little scooter trike think you seem to have lowsided on the first photo…:ermm:
From what I can see in the pics. I would be tempted to put some high gates on that drive too and padlock them shut. Can’t have enough barriers. Might be useful when your away for any period of time. Just a thought.
Good effort - but you do realise temporary structure means something erected for less than 28 days? It’s near enough to the public highway to def need planning permission I’d say. Hope you don’t have to take it down after all the effort.
Good job/idea m8 but you have told us all the security you have on it.
Don’t forget to wire the door handle to the mains :w00t:
It`s better than having nothing.
some one mention CCTV why not give it a go you could get a nice little wireless setup, right under that light (which may I add looks like a guard post) that way they do, do anything you can film them…
I thought you were taking the mick until I scrolled down and saw the other photos
My dad’s done something very similar in the back garden, it has it’s own circuit breakers, a heater running on scrap petrol/diesel mix from where he works (it’s a bit of a workshop thingy too), guard lights etc. It’s pretty impressive and nobody’s bothered trying to break in to steal the bike… although it is a very quiet area he lives in.
There’s also an air rifle at the back door just in case anybody’s stupid enough to try stealing the bike, or in case any local animals are stupid enough to try eating his strawberries
Nice shed mate:cool:
Looks likehe back end of that roofing felt could do with a bit of attention before the wind gets under it;)
nice home job! I think your lacking… VENTILATION!!!
For when you come back on a wet day and your bike is all wet and hot!
