Hi, I’m looking at doin my A2 soon as I’m only 18 and that like the best thing I can do at the momnet. Basically,
Any ideas as to where I should do it. I’m looking at it now, as I was tol d you tend to get more offers and lowered prices in the winter.

Update: Yeah, I live in hounslow, and Im lloking at doing it before nbext yr if possible. Also Im looking at doing it on a fully manual bike, so I donthave to go and pay for all the coversion licences etc.
Also any idea on which bikes are good to restrict to 33bhp? Want summat tat I can derestrict when I hit 21 or the 2yrs not entirly sure how it works. I hear those SV650s are ment to be good, but I’m a bit paranoid of going too high as I only hav an NSR125 at the mo, (fully restricted of course)
Get Bike in Ealing - http://getbike.net/ Know what you what to take ie. A2 and on a geared bike.
Heres a better list of all in London, everyone has their choice so its really up to you. I’d suggest going and having a look around the ones you choose beforehand, get a feel and if it’s not to your liking try elsewhere.
I did my direct access with Elite (more then one location wembley and richmond i think) one of our LBers is a instructor with them - Claire. She will probably give you a discount!!
I did mine with Rex Judd, the training school is called North London Motorcycle Training and John is a fab instructor, they all are actually!! I just did my CBT and 5 day DAS with them in October and passed 1st time even though I had NO PRIOR RIDING EXPERIENCE!!
I dont know of any other instructors on here, might be worth ringing arond a few places and seeing which sounds best, but I can thoroughly recommend the Rex Judd option.
Thats looking interesting. I mite have to call you on that. According to an assesment I’m gonna take 1/2 days training plus test? But I’m gna do annother one somewhere else cuz the guy told me what i did wrong.
So my plan is, go, work on what he sed, and do another one and if this guy sez 3/2 aswell I’ll jus bite the bullet.
Recon I can get to the 1day plus a morning and the test. More money to spend on my bike. (Restricting funds they can be lol)

Effectively I am. The amount of “free” assessments I’m doing, I’ll have made up an extra day of fault finding. Effectively they’re 1hr taster lessons. So I’m gonna get as many as I can. Hence covering nrly the same amount, but wiv the 1st day free
I have an SV650 which is restricted, passed in October. I’ve been told it doesn’t feel any different than a non restricted bike, only thing is it won’t do above 85mph on the M roads, but it’s more grunt than Miss Piggy!
