10th Essex Air Ambulance Charity Ride

It really WAS so cool and so great to see hundreds of bikers…i was stationed up on the A127 roundabout and kept you guys waiting before letting you all go, with the aid of other marshalls and essex police…and got a buzz out of all the horn blasting and shouting and waving we got from you all as you left !! I even got kisses blown and nods and winks !! eeeeeeasssssyyyyy !!!

Love it when bikers get together…and the bikes !!! OMG…did u see some of those bikes ??? paint jobs or what !! love it !!! one guys ducati was the dogs…cant wait for next year now, and soon as i know how many were there and how much was raised, i will post it out

Just been told 2007 - £35K raised

2008 - £31K raised (it peed down last year)

2009 - £40K and rising as they havent finished counting !!

4500 bikers but could be more as many went straight to Harwich…!

AWESOME biking community…and that didnt include many, many other bikers and forums and groups either cos they all had their own ride outs that day !! Just THINK what could be achieved for the Air Ambulance crews !!

“Don’t leave home without the monkey”!

well, it makes people smile and that’s what I’m all about,

Amazing amount of bikes, amazing amount of cash raised, and all due to the amazing generosity of you guys.

Did you know it costs £250,000 per month to keep the Helicopter in the sky?
Did you also know that none off this cost is met by government funding?

Well done, you made the difference once again.

@BigVern, it did bring a lump to the throat, but being big scary bikers we aren’t supposed to say that, are we??? lol

Had A great day out, Thanks to all for the ride in to Dunton, sorry to split there, I got a bit confused after seeing a mate and ended up in the pre reg park, but I just Knew we would meet up somewhere in Harwich  As for the ‘£s monkey’ on B Mans leg…I thought it was a dog getting too friendly! I saw you lot in the first Fuel stop on the ride home, but my ‘old’ mate Len’s Trumpet was on Auto pilot and sailed on, so I stuck with him. Hopefully meet you all again soonish.

OMG!! LOL!!! My boss was talking to me about pay rises this year when i was putting up that post… had money on the brain:D:hehe:

 no harm done, I hope you get a huge pay rise…
