I would love to help marshall this, but unfortunately I get to marshall a load of rodents this weekend.

Its £5 to go to dunton for the pre meet where you get to watch bikes etc on the big screen, and then get to watch the stuntmen on the car testing track there, with music,food etc…then they are going on to Harwich Festival…huge meet down there and the whole town opens just for us bikers…the mayor the lot !! the air ambulance is there as well as live stage and dj, stalls,food, biking stuff to buy, clothing etc…raffles for bikes…all right by the seaside !!

Ok Steve, Jay and anyone else that fancies meeting up, Redbridge Roundabout, in the tube station carpark at 0930, planning to leave no later than 0945 !!!
Think Andrea is meeting u guys here, she cant be asked to get up early to help marshall !!! tut…
Anybody else doing this from the west london/middlesex area? Going for the first time so would like to meet up. Failing any replies in time I will just head to dunton and hopefully meet some lber’s there. All the best and stay safe.

hey BMan, saw you there but couldn’t say hello as we were just about to set off.
Was a great day with an impressive turnout. Harwich were very welcoming, and most of Essex seemed to be waving to us on the way there!
Will definitely go again next year, and I hope we made a tidy sum for the air ambulance.

What a great day…Mo was a brilliant marshall, i watched bikers trembling in their boots if they even TRIED to park where they shouldnt !!
I started off in car park C, was taken from there with Abbeyj (kim) and put on the stunt track, then taken off there and taken up to the A127 roundabout ready for helping Essex Police marshall the bikes as they all left ( i loved that bit too…the stunts were great but i liked this the best !!)
Was gutted i couldnt join Andyp, chris and co…on to Harwich…but i was in the cage today as bike is still out of action…bummer…
Even got to go up to the Essex Police helicopter…nice one !
Again guys…thanks Soooo much for being there today…soon as i find out how many bikers where there today and money raised, i will be posting…roll on next year !!
A brilliant day - the sheer number of bikes at Ford was amazing - as was riding off with hundreds down to Harwich. And being greeted by half the town - and the Town Crier - was great. All the pics I took on my phone are c**p - the only one that’s clear is this. PMSL at the time.
I have to say that this years one was the best - thoroughly great fun!! Good to see everyone coming in. Would have gone to Harwich, but absolutely knackered by the end. (could also be something to do with having to rescue two damsels in distress at two the previous morning! Blade - both girls are doing fine and one of them very very embarrased - bless. )
But roll on next year… :D:D
Is it worth getting up at six in the morning to do this? Definitely!!!

Big hello to all. I did not want to see this thread die without saying a few words so here goes. I first want to say a big thank you to all that made this old fella feel most welcome, I felt a bit daunted setting off (only 2nd day back on the busa after a bad off and riding out with thousands, nothing like taking it easy!) but once I got to Redbridge you all chilled me a lot. I don’t want to single anyone out but to all those that made the extra effort, big ta! The ride was fantastic and I could not have enjoyed myself any more (well maybe I could have but it was a family day after all) although I do hope it is a while before I see another burger or hot dog. This goes to the catering at ford, AT LEAST DICK TURPIN WORE A MASK WHEN HE ROBBED YOU!! Glad to get that off my chest. And finally in closing m’lud, will anyone else man up and admit to getting a bit choked at all the people waving and clapping on the way into Harwich? I was alright until I saw two old dears (one with a zimmer frame!) cheering us on our way. I said I would just wave at the kids on the way but then forgot all about that and just waved at everyone. Anyway once again big thanks to all and if anybody has any pictures of the day please let me know, love to see them. Sorry if there is any grammatical errors and such, I always got by on my looks!! TTFN and stay safe.
