Your coolest bike as a kid!

When I was a wee nipper this was my pride and joy!

Looks pants now! :hehe:

Oh wow, my older brother had a wildcat, I used to nick it all the time, I loved it, the noises were ace :w00t::w00t:

My bike at the time was a pale blue Roland Rat, with hard plastic tyres that couldn’t get a puncture, great bike :stuck_out_tongue:

raliegh burner…mag wheels…kool…had lods of bmx’s tho…momgoose…diamond back… we used to go out and find frames and wheels around the estate and biuld our own;)

Grifter

gotta be the chopper, used to catch the scrote bag on the gear shifter though ooooooch, and 2nd gear never worked:hehe:

Yeah - it was the chopper - totally 70’s cool! along with T-rex, skateboards, Jaws, space hoppers etc - after that the raleigh grifter - you changed gears with the handlebar grip and it looked like you could pull stunts on it - except it weighed about a ton!

Those were class…My mate had one…Was like Street Hawk

PMSL

Loved my bmx…cos i lived int countryside i always had punctures due to the hawthorn hedges either side of the narrow lanes!

I had a cracking black and gold super grifter, that thing was blinged right out. I always wanted one of these though…

No way!! I used to have one of those! It does look a bit pants now! Very 80s. It was a heavy beast as well!

I had a :-

Raleigh Arena road bike

And a Mongoose bmx

A mate of mine had one of those but he had the handlebars turned upside down. I had an old 3 speed racer frame in different incarnations, once with the drop handlebars turned upside down and another time with a huge pair of cow horn handlebars!

I never had a bike :crying:

I had one of these and the Original Raleigh Chopper ;):stuck_out_tongue:

The Chopper was ‘too expensive’ apparently- (still bitter and twisted about this one)

Always had secondhand bikes- Started off with a 3 hub-gear job which lasted one summer. Then got a ‘proper’ 5 gear (!)racer secondhand- it was a half-size Claude Butler- actually quite good.

Mark 1 burner.
