Your bike's Performance.

Out of interest: id like to know some of your answers to the following questions.

  1. which bike do you have?

  2. what gear can the front lift up in with clutch and power?

Oh and just a random one, does anyone know if there is a place to buy a wheelie bar, or must i make one, and if the latter then can someone tell me what i need.

Cheers,

No comment for obvious reasons !!

care to share?..oh come on people, im not saying incriminate yourself by telling me exactly when and where this happened, it could have been on a track, or private road.

sorry blade but i just dont understand your response.

Sorry about that…hope you get better response from others to your question on their bikes performance and what they ride?

Blade if your worried about what I think you are then your avatar and your forum name gives it away.

i was just thinking the same thing next it will be what area do you live in,as we dont know who looks at this site,so no comment from me either

Nope mate, not worried…as for avitar? as you see there is also someone else in that pic…who says whos bike it is? If u hadnt met me, you wouldnt know for sure if u saw me out would you? Shame we have to think like that eh?

what are you guys scared of?..

moderators, you might aswell remove this post, didn’t think it would cause fear in the eyes of “LB members”…

it it helps i’ve got an r1, am a great big poof and haven’t lifted the front on the power or the clutch

couple of links for you mate. apparently they’re getting it up in 3rd and 4th on the clutch. stock gearing you’re prob looking at 1st and 2nd for power wheelies (from memory).

start dropping teeth on the front and it’ll all start getting north a whole lot quicker

You can lift most sports bikes up of clutch and power just a question timing…for examply my bike can be lifted if u give enough throttel quickly after reaching about 7000 revs as this is where the power band lies…

As for clutch one day i may be able to tell u

CB1300…

I can if I so desire lift the front in 3rd, however I (generally) choose not to…

If anyone reading this is thinking of nicking it you should know the following… It’s 3.5 years old, 44,000 miles, pitted fork stancions, worn out front tyre, bent handle bars, rev counter has not worked since i threw it down the road into a bus stop, small ding in the tank, scratched plastics, scuffed engine casings, seat foam is past it’s best…

On the plus side… 6,500rpm apparently does it for laaaaadeeez on the pillion seat

Thought YOU were the one doing it for the laddeeezzz on the pillion seat biggus?

It has been known

well i have a zx9r with stage 1 tune [full systme and factory jet kit the usual] so its ok at the back with 140+ at the back

so in that light and despite my atempt not to lift it as i am still a bit weary of it so never delibrety yet but working on it back to point it cam up in third on power and sacred the living day lights out of me… … as i was cornering

as for clutch it will come on clutch i am sure it come up up to forth and maybe on 5th and six given the correct speeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed

hope that satisfy

thank you for the information, keep em coming if you want to people.

anyone know about a wheelie bar, i ask because i have now a friend who works on a airport landing strip which is unused, and i go to practise there, trying to get my knee down doing circles and some stunts.

HI 666

pm’d u

I’ve tried getting the front end up but I’m not very successful at it - I did it once by accident and it scared me silly! I did do a stoppie on a VFR but again that was to avoid a silly old lady who didn’t know how to look before she crossed

I have a CBF600 faired, I live at… ha ha ha! had you all going then because my bike is soooooooo sexy everyone wants to nick it

m

Smile …

I’m interested in the landing strip mate…Would pay cash to use it for a top speed run.

The animosity you see when you ask what bikes people have is not personal…Its just everyone is weary of the growing rate of bike theft by s*hit stains only known as other human beings by their families…Bikers are growing weary at the Police’s lack of interest in this area because it is seen as low priority.

So that’s why people are growing more and more suspicious…But people let’s not turn this into a witch hunt…Bikers stick together…If this scum split us, then how can we help protect each other.

I’ve lost 1 bike, had one bike dropped out of a van by theiving scum so I will never give out any personal information on any public forum, but I will help a biker in most other ways…Peace

I own an R6 and an R1…Don’t care about wheelies and stunts…I care about how to really ride a motorcycle properly and why things happen on a motorcycle…Keith Code’s books are teaching me what I need to know.

well put mate, i just woke up yesterday, and i just wanted to do stunts, i dont know why, but i just do. i think it would be fun and would teach me more about how i can handle it, control the bike better. living in munich (which is where the landing strip is) i can do whatever i want, if i want to go fast i have the autobahn 2 minutes away.

Peace.
