Yet Another Tyre Thread!

I’m due a set of tyres for my R1 and I’m undecided between a couple of tyres.

Should I go for Pirelli Diablo Corsa’s for £130

Pirelli Diablo Rosso’s for about £210 but I can get £25 cashback

Or go for what seems to be everyones favourites, the Michelin Pilot Power 2CT for about £180?

I know the Corsa’s are an old tyre but my R1 is currently running the OE Michelin Pilot Power non-2CT tyres, which I guess are similar to the single compound Pirelli’s, and I’ve never had any issues with them!

Any suggestions?

Well you know my answer, but I paid just under £250 for a new set fitted so they’ve gone up in price by about £20 quid.

I don’t really like Pirelli tyres, but it’s just a preference thing as the Rosso’s are supposed to be the best sports riding tyre at the moment.

I’m Running Michelin Pilot Road 2CT’s at the mo, good grip! in wet or dry weather, been getting knee down in temps of 7-8 degrees, not even having to warm them for long either, they warm up nicely.

i had Pilot Powers on my SV6all year round, loved them! may even get the thou some next tyre change:)
