I thought I was taking the p*ss mentioning the ‘kids dressed as knives running across a huge rizla paper’ for our olympic opening ceremony, but this is like something out of ‘Brass Eye’. :w00t:
I give up, I really do. Why can’t we organise anything without making complete tits of ourselves…I’ve got an awful feeling that the 2012 Olympics is going to make the Millenium Dome debacle look like a success…
It wasn’t the Olympic 2012 that were responsible for the image…bliddy ‘Visit London’ eejits are the ones.
Good to see old Boris wasn’t impressed.
It’s a piece of art on display in a reputable gallery.
That said, I’d not select it as a image used in a film to promote the UK.
Well quite - but even so it’s a bit of a poor show… on top of the poor display in the ceremony. I also caught Boris on TV this evening going on about 2012… It was all very defeatest from what he was saying it sounded like that we’re not even going to try and better the Chinese effort.
I agree. I thought it did have a kind of black humour ‘Brass Eye’ element though - it was kind of funny imagining Johnson and Brown watching the video and cringing when her face came up.
Yeah I noticed that…I think they could have found a better image though.
I agree…just highlighting that the Olympic Committee had nothing to do with that advert.I get the feeling we’ll be seeing Morris Dancers on the day…centre stage!!
