World Record Attempt: For the ladies - Sunday 16th August

Hi All, I’ve somehow found myself in the midst of arranging a world record attempt. It will be to have the world’s largest gathering of female bikers :slight_smile:

We are waiting on some confirmations from Guinness but as long as all goes to plan, it will be on Sunday 16th August at the Ace Cafe. Would be great to create a new record or smash an existing one! There is a group in Australia that claim they have the world record with 190 bikes/221 ladies. I reckon we can beat that!

Maria Costello is already in and we will definitely be reaching out to some more public figures :slight_smile: We will be selecting 2 charities to raise funds for too. If you think of any other people to contact, let me know!

BSB doesn’t have a race that weekend So Jenny Tinmouth may be available if she isn’t Testing, it’s the week before Cadwell so they may be up that way so not in the area.

Exactly what qualifies? Obviously a female with own bike.

But does a female pillion on a blokes bike count?
Or do only female pillions on female bikers bikes count?

(I can’t see farcebook at the moment to check there)

will they need to ride the bike out for the record to stand or will it just be a gathering? you could cheat a little and get people who have female pillion companions to yurn up, park the bike up then when the record is organised they go sit on the bike pretending its theirs :Whistling:
