Can anyone suggest a place I could find workshop insurance to cover the tools etc in my garage? Only ones I can find are for trade/companies.
I added them onto my house insurance as a specific listing
You’ll probably need to speak to a broker as your garage isn’t nexted to your property. I’ve seen people mention the NFU in the past on hobby carpentry sites.
Also I know when I worked on site we was only covered if our tools where locked in a dedicated site tool box. Regardless if we had them locked inside a dedicated room.
