This is the problem I think, amongst many others.

Now if you could live in ****ey blighty from May to September and have a decent bike, that goes quick, obviously, you could have fun, which I do here, but then after that time, it’s time to “foxtrot oscar”

Now I’m quite happy to work hard to have this, which is fine, but once it gets to the winter theres nothing to do.

still think I gotta emigrate - or where can you “foxtrot oscar” to, in the winter??

I’m not, hope its dry and cloudy. No frost, no ice. Ride to work in most weathers but hate the snow and ice.

I’m with you Wolfie. The only thing is we don’t actually have a single mountain in our country. Personally I prefer continental weather patterns, F hot and F cold. None of this half hearted summer followed by a winter that don’t produce any decent snow

I love December as it’s my berfffday on new year’s eve! 21 again…

I was born on a tropical island in Malaysia… live 5 minutes from the beach and can see the sea from my house.

live in london… despite being offered a job in Penang, Malaysia! why? still trying to figure it out.

Love sun sea sand, beach babes, wake boarding, surfing, windsurfing, sailing etc…

Love snow, skiing, boarding, apres ski, snow bunnies, and the rest…

love tropical rain… its warm and heavy and you can stand in it and its refreshing!

hate english tempermental weather! along with that… we are in a temperate climate which means 2 things:

  1. it never gets really hot and sunny here like in the tropics… so the sea is still cold and then beach life isnt what i have been used to… hence lots of my holidays venture to hot sunny places.

  2. it never stays cold enough for long enough to have a nice white xmas and ski and the rest so we stuck with slush and slimy, icy roads…

so generally disappointed with the Uk but the brothers live here and i have a great life - not just time to change the weather… ROLE ON GLOBAL WARMING! as the only country in the world is the Uk that will benefit… !

well… i’m so glad all of his training in the milton keynes snow dome paid off.

its the first step in “Making Britain GREAT” Again…

he was the only one stupid enough to actually say yes to the advert:

who wants to jump of a ski jump 50m above the ground without any training for GB whilst we all laugh at you?

I think you have the chance to learn alot of skills riding though winter. Your observation and planning has to be up to scratch, you need to be a smoother on the controls. As for the cold and wet, get the right gear and it’s ok.

Eddie the eagle rocks, good for him, he got to the olympics, which is a lot better than I’d do. Didn’t he get a song in the charts aswell?
