Win A Honda Cbr For Just £10.

How does that sound ? Either a Honda CBR or an XBOX 360 for a tenner ?Probably just another scam you may think? Well if I told you that I designed the site, for a work collegue of mine … then it may put your mind at ease!

Have a read of the site and it’s pretty much all self explanitory.

It’s not a fraud, or I wouldn’t have got involved … it’s a genuine idea that has potential!

Cheers and good luck! I’m certainly buying a few tickets me self!

So let me get this straight.

I buy a ticket for a tenner

The draw isn’t going to take place until all the tickets are sold to cover the cost of the bike.

What happens if in a years time you haven’t sold enough tickets?

It can’t be open ended like this.

I’m sure there are laws/rules covering such events.

There’s a whole raft of laws & regulations covering the running lotteries.

No mention of any of them on the site, though seeing as who posted this I’m sure they’ll have ensured it complies with the relevant laws of the land eh ?

Hello Pat

Think of it like an item for sale with added fun.

If it doesn’t sell soon … not sure of exact date as the guy who owns the site has gone to sleeep! But if it doesn’t sell in time then he will just refund everyones payment via paypal

Looks like you are breaking all the rules in the book:w00t:

If the prize is worth more than £250 and tickets are sold in advance for personal gain you should be registered with your local authority under the The Lotteries and Amusements Act 1976

Ive heard of people doing these with houses, and I agree there should be a cut off date and not left open ended, in theory its a good idea.

Really? Well the XBOX is OK then  But obviously the bike wont be !I’ll let him know … unless he doesn’t already know!
