So I checked out this club a few weeks ago, was great. Atmosphere is brilliant. Going back next Sat to celebrate a promotion at work/moving house/new bike ha. Don’t have many friends into house music, so if it’s you’re thing and you’re up for a night out let’s organise a little LB house night!
Sending out feelers to see if anyone is keen first…
would be more up for somewhere with an old skool room ,was trying to get some mates out to promised land at egg last year but all settled down with kids now,and since I’m out the country till the 10th feb I’m out maybe next time though…
Is it a straight night? That area is known for hardcore gay venues (as in tops off, bear types etc…). Not that I have anything against it, but it’s not my type of night out.
Ugh i went there for a work do, paid 10 quid entry, stood at the bar downstairs in unbearable heat for 20 mins trying to get a drink, didnt happen, sound system was horrific, i ended up demanding my money back and left haha
I might be interested. What’s the dress code? And what does the £1.80 BF" mean? Oh, I’ve just turned 49 and can’t dance, but as it’s house music, would that matter?
From their site.BF Explained:
What are booking fees?Booking fees are added to each ticket. They cover the costs involved in providing our ticketing service. Without these booking fees, we wouldn’t be able to provide our service to you, our customer.
We do not take a penny of the face value cost of a ticket - 100% of the face value is passed on to the event organisers running the event.
Included in the booking fees are card payment processing costs, customer service and account handling costs, secure server maintenance and development costs, and a number of other costs involved in providing our service.
A large portion of the booking fee also goes towards funding new technologies designed to improve your event experience.
We work hard to keep our booking fees as reasonable as possible and we strive to be transparent about them at all times.
You probably won’t need to buy tickets beforehand, last time I went we just bought at the door.
Ladies in free if entering before 11.30pm, but just need to keep in mind it takes an hour or so for the crowds to build up.
Yes Alba comee! haha
Dress code, don’t think there really is one, just dress like a normal person going out to have a drink/dance, jeans etc ok, maybe not dirty falling apart sneakers ha
