Who says the Yanks are new to bike racing?

I’ve borrowd this off another site as I think you will find it as fascinating as I did:)

These guys are racing at speeds of over 200 kph, on wooden boards with hardly any brakes:w00t:

Cracking quality film thats just been uncovered under an old boy’s bed.

Enjoy!

Very Cool

That is cool, like the way the spectators can just stand by the side of the track with no barrier inbetween them and the bikes…dont think that would happen today!

Great piece of racing history, incredible speeds too.

The bikes may not be a match for todays machines but that did not seem to make the atmosphere any less tense then.

What else have you got under your bed CM;)

Only a few old pictures of a dodgy geezer on a CBR6 supersports. I’m not saying he’s an old’un but his website is in Latin;):D:w00t:

:w00t:LOL That’s my new years resolution to get some content on the website;)

Excellent footage

Better than some modern you tube stuff :stuck_out_tongue:

Imagine how fast your Busa would go with gearing as high as they had:w00t:

That’s excellent footage, great camera work! :w00t:

Those guys were nutters but it’s thanks to people pushing themselves like that we have the great machines we have today, I take my hat of to them!

Thought they were twins :P:D

Had a Scout 741b once  Just some useless info :stuck_out_tongue:
