Where would you like to go next weekend

Confirmed - thanks Alex - it will not be suitable for learners or 125s (sorry).

I am definitely up for joining up and going for a spin, especially as the wife and kids are going away.

However I need to see them off before I head out on the bike. Not sure they would be leaving our house in time for me to get to the Ace by 9:30am. It is possible, but by no means certain.

Perhaps I could arrange a meeting point somewhere on-route or get a mobile number to text when the family are on their way.

Petrol Station forecourt;)

Enjoy yourselves. I am only just back from a week of Social Gerontology at Keele. Getting three years of student life into 6 days is hard on a 49 year old body! I am taking it easy this weekend!

From the vote it looks like Newport Pagnell services… can’t wait… I think M25 then up the M1! Should be a beauty of a ride!

Shame it weren’t Jaywick I will be in Clacton by midday and could have meet up with ya for a ride back in the afternoon.

We may be getting our old (fat) mate Rikster coming along on his new 1400GTR he picked up this morning:)

Great we’ll find a few lanes and gravel for him to test it on:D

Be lovely to see the chubby old devil again:)

just been out for an hour to practice my gravel riding in preperation for tomorrow:w00t::P:hehe::hehe:

Aah, quandary; Ace breakfast or extra hour lay in and meet at Thurrock?

Wise move, weve just hacked into the feed from a US military satellite to scan for unexpected gravel traps:) Hope we dont get caught and extradited before the morning:ermm:

Yea, we have the same problem:D

oooh blinding rideout will get good lie in…can do Newport Pagnell services in 10 minutes if I get a shufti on :D:D:D

Just lubed the chain and polished my mirrors. I’m all set.

:stuck_out_tongue:

What is it with everyone ditching their Busas ?

I know which I’d rather but there’s a good chance of me getting lost having never been to Thurrock before. At least I know where the Ace is (assuming anyone is actually going from there ???!)

OK, we`ll be at the Ace ready to leave at 9.30am.

Nice one, see ya there

OK y`all, read the pinned cornerman thread cause there are lots of them:D

No burkhas, no knobers, 125s, fat blokes, cruisers, cottaging, whingers etc.

Ride at your own risk.

This is a rideout not a race, look out for others and do unto others as you would have done unto yourself.

Thanks for your votes as to destinations, these have been considered and ignored:D

Ace 9.30am departure.

Thurrock services 10.30am departure.

There will be a collection for London Air Ambulance.

Coffee by a river, lunch by the roadside.:stuck_out_tongue:

Varied return routes to encompass all tastes

Satisfaction is a state of mind and cannot by it`s very nature be guaranteed.

Roads will be excellent at all times, lanes, streets and gravel will feature and be credited in any forthcoming write up.

See you all in the morning for a day of gay abandon.:w00t:
